
Maxime Vassieu
AXENS
Maxime Vassieu is an experienced Engineer with over 15 years of expertise in the development and promotion of technologies.
Currently, Maxime holds the position of Lead Technologist at AXENS Renewable Products Line where he is responsible for the elaboration and promotion of technical offers for fuel and biofuel production technologies. His role also includes to identify areas for improvement and collaborates closely with the R&D department to ensure the profitability of new developments and projects.
Along his career in Axens he covered various technologies from gasoline production to Sustainable Aviation Fuel including Reforming, Alcohol to jet, Fischer Tropsch, RWGS and others.
Prior to his current role, Maxime served as a Technical Support Leader at Newton's. In this position, he was the technology reference for drying and desulfurization catalysts, overseeing the entire production process.
Maxime holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and Processes from Centrale Engineering in Marseille, obtained in September 2004. He also holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University Aix Marseille 3, completed in September 2002.
