National Petroleum Authority Ghana
Mrs. Linda Asante is the Director of Inspections, Monitoring and Health, Safety and Environment (Chief Inspector) at the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), bringing nearly two decades of expertise in Ghana’s petroleum downstream sector.
She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Regulations Workgroup of the African Refiners & Distribution Association (ARDA), where she contributes to advancing best practices in regulation and compliance.
From 2022 to 2024, she served as Deputy Chief Executive of NPA, where she earned recognition for her leadership in regulation, compliance, and safety. Earlier, between 2017 and 2022, she was responsible for import and export operations of petroleum products.
From 2013 to 2017, she served as Regional Manager in charge of Fuel Quality under the Petroleum Product Marking Scheme, ensuring the integrity of fuel across the country. She also played a critical role in import, export, and stock management of petroleum products nationwide.
Beyond her regulatory career, Mrs. Asante leads the Yaa Animah Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women and children.
