Kimball Chen is, since 2012, the CEO of GLOBAL LPG PARTNERSHIP (GLPGP), the UN-backed Public Private: Partnership mandated to assist developing countries and international institutions to plan, finance and implement LPG sector development at scale.

M. Kimball Chen has a very rich career:

- President 2012-2015, Board Director, 2000-2015 : WORLD LPG ASSOCIATION (WLPGA), the global voice of the LPG industry
- FINANCIAL SERVICES CORPORATION (FSC), the economic development bank of New York City: - Board Director, lead of Board Credit Approval Committee, 1986-1991
- ENERGY TRANSPORTATION GROUP (ETG), holdings in LNG and LPG, high technology : Chairman, CEO, 1994-present and before Vice Chairman, 1978-1994
- ADVISOR TO GOVERNMENTS, strategic advisor on LNG and LPG to the US, China, Argentina, Romania, Turkey, Portugal, Lithuania, Pakistan, etc.
