Mr Hippolyte Bassolé

Hippolyte Bassolé has dual expertise in oil technology and executive management, with over 30 years of experience in the management of liquid and gas hydrocarbon depots at the Burkina Faso National Hydrocarbons Company (SONABHY).

He holds a Master’s degree in Control and Audit Accounting, a Master’s in Management and International Trade, and a University Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – Technology Option. Since December 2017, he has served as Director of the SONABHY Bingo Oil Depot, located 32 km from Ouagadougou.

Retired since August 2024, Hippolyte now works as an independent consultant and trainer in management and hydrocarbons. Since 2016, he has also led the Storage and Distribution Working Group of the African Refiners and Distributors Association (ARDA).
