Mr. Francois Robinson

Regional Energy Regulators Association of Southern Africa

Mr. Francois Robinson is the Executive Director of the Regional Energy Regulators Association of Southern Africa (RERA), a formal association of energy regulators in the SADC region established in 2002. Before his appointment at RERA, Mr. Robinson served in various capacities in the economic, technical and legal services at the Electricity Control Board of Namibia (ECB) as well as at the African Forum of Utility Regulators (AFUR).

He possesses over 20 years of experience in electricity regulation which include development and implementation of regulatory frameworks, policy development, electricity market design and institutional development.
