Mr. Adongo holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana, an International Executive MBA in Strategic & Project Management from the Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM), a Certificate in Global Oil & Gas Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Certificate in Managing safely in the Oil & Gas Industry from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health. During his days at KNUST, he held several student leadership positions, including becoming the President of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS).

He has over two and half decades of work experience in the petroleum downstream, having joined GOIL PLC in 1999 for his National Service after which he was engaged in September 2000.

He has served GOIL PLC in various capacities, namely Marketing Engineer, Customer Training Coordinator, Compliance Manager and Zonal Marketing Manager. In 2019, Anyeyure was appointed Technical Services Manager – Special Projects, to join the Project Team that handled three major projects, including the construction of the GOIL-SMB Bitumen plant now known as the African Bitumen Terminal. Upon completion of the bitumen project, he was appointed as the Terminal Manager for the Bitumen Terminal.

In January 2025, Mr. Anyeyure L. J. Adongo was appointed Managing Director of GOBitumen Ltd, a subsidiary of GOIL PLC responsible for GOIL’S Bitumen Business.

He is married with three children.
