The first edition of the Human Capital Brainstorming, organized in June 2025, identified two strategic priorities to strengthen skills and expertise within the African downstream sector:
To set up a pan-African database of skills and expertise, at the service of ARDA member companies, in order to promote the sharing of expertise, cooperation and networking of talents.
Define a three-year skills development program, in particular in connection with the future ARDA School in Abidjan, in order to meet the priority and future needs of the sector.
This second edition is a decisive step in transforming these orientations into concrete, priority and achievable initiatives.
The objective is to cross-reference HR, technical, operational and managerial perspectives to identify together the skills that the African downstream needs today and for tomorrow.
La première édition du Brainstorming Capital Humain, organisée en juin 2025, a permis d’identifier deux priorités stratégiques pour renforcer les compétences et l’expertise au sein du secteur aval africain :
Mettre en place une base de données panafricaine des compétences et expertises, au service des sociétés membres de l’ARDA, afin de favoriser le partage d’expertise, la coopération et la mise en réseau des talents.
Définir un programme triennal de développement des compétences, en lien notamment avec la future ARDA School à Abidjan, afin de répondre aux besoins prioritaires et futurs du secteur.
Cette deuxième édition constitue une étape décisive pour transformer ces orientations en initiatives concrètes, prioritaires et réalisables.
L’objectif est de croiser les perspectives RH, techniques, opérationnelles et managériales pour identifier ensemble les compétences dont l’aval africain a besoin aujourd’hui et pour demain.
