Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire – The 7th West Africa LPG Expo 2026 will return to Parc des Expositions d’Abidjan on 2–3 September 2026, bringing together government representatives, policymakers, investors, and LPG industry leaders from across West Africa and beyond.

As a partner of the LPG Expo, the African Refiners and Distributors Association (ARDA) will be exhibiting at the event at Exhibition Stand 15. ARDA is a strong advocate for the use of LPG as a transition fuel to help provide access to clean cooking for the millions of Africans who still rely on biomass for their cooking needs.

Held under the patronage of Côte d’Ivoire’s Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Energy, the Expo returns to the country for its second edition and will be conducted in French, with simultaneous English interpretation available.

Under the theme “Bridging Access to Clean Cooking in West Africa,” the two-day programme will explore LPG adoption, safety, affordability, supply security, infrastructure development, and strategies to expand access to clean cooking. The Expo provides an important platform to advance the conversation around LPG as a practical transition fuel for clean cooking, particularly in a region where millions of households continue to rely on biomass. Delegates will also have the opportunity to participate in the Cooking For Life Africa Workshop, organised by the World Liquid Gas Association (WLGA) and presented by Michael Kelly, Chief Advocacy Officer and Deputy Managing Director of WLGA. A technical site visit sponsored by PETROCI will also take place for all delegates.

A major networking highlight will be The Amber Hour, an exclusive cocktail reception presented by the Abidjan LPG Circle at Calla Abidjan on the evening of 2 September 2026. The reception will bring together delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, government officials, and industry leaders in an elegant setting designed to encourage meaningful conversations, strategic partnerships, and new business opportunities.
