Kemexon is a family-owned business involved in commodity trading and investments with an emphasis on the energy transition. In the early 2010’s, the operations consisted of small lots of fuels and chemicals traded mostly intra-regionally in Africa. In 2017, Kemexon Ltd was established in Hong Kong and developed rapidly into an oil products trading concern focused on Africa.

At the same time, Ludwig Bricout ventured in biomass trading and distribution in Belgium. In 2022, Kemexon SA was founded in Geneva by Alexia Bricout, and now functions as the group’s EMEA headquarters.

Kemexon is now active in several commodities including oil and petroleum products, coal and biomass. The company also invests in assets linked to the energy transition.

In oil products, Kemexon mainly operates in the African continent, importing products in East as well as West Africa and servicing its network of customers far inland with several operations ex-tanks in the inland. Oil products traded are essentially diesel and gasoline.

Kemexon employs approximately 50 people spread across Geneva, Dubai, Hong Kong, Brussels and London.

Kemexon est désormais active dans plusieurs secteurs, notamment le pétrole et les produits pétroliers, le charbon et la biomasse. La société investit également dans des actifs liés à la transition énergétique.

Dans le domaine des produits pétroliers, Kemexon opère principalement sur le continent africain, importe des produits en Afrique de l’Est et de l’Ouest et dessert son réseau de clients à l’intérieur des terres avec plusieurs opérations au départ des réservoirs dans l’intérieur des terres. Les produits pétroliers échangés sont principalement le diesel et l’essence.

Kemexon emploie environ 50 personnes réparties entre Genève, Dubaï, Hong Kong, Bruxelles et Londres.
