Patrice Yao is originally a General Engineer from the National Higher Institute of Technical Education in Abidjan. He worked for 3 years in oil exploration at the Schlumberger group in Southeast Asia before being recruited by the Ivorian Refining Company.

With 30 years of experience at SIR, including 5 years as Production Director and 5 years as Technical Director, Mr. Patrice Koffi YAO has currently been Director of CORAF for nearly 10 years. He joined the company in 2016 as Factory Director and for the past 3 years has held the position of Deputy General Administrator, thus contributing to the development and modernization of the Congo refinery.

Mr. Patrice Koffi YAO also led the HSEP Refining Working Group of ARDA from 2012 to 2016.
