Amanda Lopez is the General Manager and Director of Puma Energy South Africa. Amanda brings more than two decades of experience in the downstream energy sector, with leadership experience across operations, logistics, retail and HSSE.

Amanda joined Puma Energy in November 2025 after spending 22 years with Shell Downstream South Africa in a variety of roles both locally and internationally. During this time, she gained broad experience across Sales and Marketing in Retail, Network Planning, Real Estate, Logistics, Terminal Operations and Order-to-Cash.

She also held an international HSSE role based in the Netherlands, with responsibility spanning operations across 17 countries in Europe and Africa.

Prior to joining Puma Energy, Amanda served as General Manager of Distribution Operations and later General Manager for Mobility (Retail) at Shell South Africa.

Amanda began her career more than 25 years ago working at a retail service station. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Law and is a Non-Executive Board Member of the Fuels Industry Association of South Africa.
