Joseph Furtado has 30+ years of experience across diverse industries, including O&G, Refining, Petrochemicals, MMM, and Fertiliser, with broad domain expertise and hands-on experience in roles such as software development, systems engineering, technical services, digital solutions consultancy, autonomous operations, sales operations, and marketing. He has received multiple recognitions within Honeywell and from customers for delivering exceptional results on critical campaigns, complex projects, and international assignments.

In his current role, Joseph is developing and executing strategies for refining and petrochemical customer requirements while providing outcome-based solutions and services.

His focus areas include:

Introducing Honeywell’s Grid-to-Gate Value Chain and Integrated Digital Enterprise Architecture to optimise capex and opex during design and runtime, particularly on Power-to-X programmes in EMEA, where he is involved in several Green Hydrogen and Derivatives projects.

Driving key strategies for Honeywell Process Solutions in the EMEA region, helping customers address operational challenges as a trusted partner, leveraging AI-enabled technologies to make assets work harder, people work smarter, and systems more efficient.

Outside of his professional life, Joseph enjoys long road bike rides, exploring the beautiful terrain of Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
