CPMZ Pipeline

Patrick's primary focus currently is Mozambique, where he serves as managing director of CPMZ, which owns and operates a 10 inch, 294 km multi-product pipeline between the port of Beira, in Mozambique, and Feruka, in Zimbabwe.

After completing an MBA at INSEAD in 1986, Patrick was a consultant with McKinsey & Co., where he found great echo to his professional values and developed important managerial competences. Later he joined Grupo Entreposto, a diversified organization with activities in Portugal, Mozambique and Brasil. Over the ensuing 10 yrs, he carried out a number of high-impact assignments and eventually became a key member of the Group’s supervisory board.

In 2000 Patrick co-founded, developed and managed Precision Iberia, a company that contributed decisively to the modernization of the Portuguese automotive aftermarket.

As he has done from his time as a student in Universidade Católica, Patrick continues to invest time – and passion - in looking after his family’s eco-friendly farm in São Martinho da Cortiça, as well as in several “third-way” initiatives which target environmental protection, improvements in education and alleviation of poverty.
