Adil Kurt-Elli is a 20+ year veteran of the City of London who has successfully raised over US$100bn in funding for clients around the world.
Having started his career at global law firm Linklaters, he moved into banking where he held a number of senior managing director roles at HSBC in London and Dubai including European Head of Emerging Markets and Global Head of Upstream Oil & Gas Financing.
Since leaving HSBC, Adil established Aldersmead to assist a select group of government and private sector clients on a variety of finance related issues.
In addition to aldersmead, Adil holds several other board and advisory roles.
He is a founder of Symplified Capital Markets Limited (“synch”), a financial technology business, and is co-founder of Atrago BV, an innovative graphene applications company.
He currently sits on the advisory board of Developing Markets Associates, a specialist consultancy that facilitates money flow into the world’s emerging economies through a variety of means including sovereign investment summits and trade missions.
Outside of finance, Adil also sits on the board of directors of the ITA, the governing body for touch rugby in Ireland.
