The African Refiners and Distributors Association (ARDA) plans to organize a Storage/Distribution & Jet fuel Forum from September 13 to 15, 2022 in person in Dakar, Senegal. This forum will cover:

The Storage Distribution workshop, in person, on September 13, 2022 in Dakar is part of the imperatives of continuous improvement but also in the identification of the challenges to be met following a particular international situation and the implementation of the energy transition plan for Africa. This forum also facilitates the exchange of best practices among members and serves as a means of collaboration with sponsors and other partners to develop sustainable frameworks to promote investment in economic projects aimed at upgrading to international supply chain standards in Storage and Distribution.

This 4th workshop, under the theme “FOCUS ON STORAGE & DISTRIBUTION”, includes 4 key sessions

- Session 1 (09:30-1100 hrs GMT): International situation: Issues & challenges.
- Session 2 (11:15 - 12:45 hrs GMT): An upgraded supply chain to meet the expected challenges
- Session 3: (14:00-15:30 hrs GMT): Investments in storage & distribution infrastructure to reduce the carbon footprint
- Session 4: (15:45-17:15 hrs GMT): Human capital and HSEQ, key factors to secure and develop the supply chain

The Jet Fuel workshop, in person, on September 14, 2022 in Dakar is part of the imperatives of continuous improvement and has, also, the main objective of facilitating the exchange of best practices between members aimed at upgrading to international standards of the Jet fuel supply chain.
This 4th workshop, under the theme “FOCUS ON THE JET FUEL: Developing a world-class jet fuel supply chain”, includes 4 key sessions :
- Session 1 (09:30-1100 hrs GMT): Jet fuel Current situation & Outlooks.
- Session 2 (11:15 - 12:45 hrs GMT): Mastering the international norms and standards/What required tools for supply chain compliance?
- Session 3: (14:00-15:30 hrs GMT): African investments in jet fuel S&D facilities
- Session 4: (15:45-17:15 hrs GMT): Case studies: Best practices & Lessons from incidents
