The African Refiners and Distributors Association (ARDA) is the first ever pan-African organisation for the downstream oil sector in Africa. Founded in 2006, the ARDA Members comprise African oil refiners, importers, terminal operators, major marketers, distributors and regulators.

ARDA is a platform for improved interaction between African refiners and distributors, and international marketing, trading, engineering and financial services companies, offering excellent opportunities for such international companies to engage positively with the African downstream and develop opportunities across the continent.

This year, each of the seven (7) ARDA Work Groups – Refining & Specifications, Storage & Distribution, LPG, HSE & Quality (HSEQ), Regulation, Human Capital and Sustainable Financing – will hold one-day virtual workshops to promote sharing of best practices amongst its Members, Sponsors and other key stakeholders.
